The machine's efficient diesel engine runs cleanly to even the most stringent emission standards and provides reliable power for continuous operation. The hydrostatic transmission allows smooth speed control from 0-12 km/h enabling precise operation for both initial compaction and final finishing.

The intelligent compaction system varies vibration parameters automatically by observing material resistance to prevent over-compaction while maximizing uniformity of density. A pressurized water spray system allows for the surfaces of the drums to be continuously cleaned, while the automatic sprinkler control makes operation of the machine with respect to water consumption as efficient as possible.

Heavy-duty hydraulic components, a reinforced frame and ground-level service points are built in to ensure the roller lasts. Centralized lubrication and grouped filter locations enable easy routine maintenance. The machine has a very balanced design which ensures long life of its components even under heavy duty conditions.
