Crawler Bulldozer

Crawler Bulldozer

Weighing in at 236,000 pounds (107,000 kg), the crawler bulldozer is a heavy-duty earthmoving powertrain for difficult construction, mining, and land development projects. Sharing a unique set of continuous tracks and a massive folding blade, this beast conquers pushing power and stability on the harshest of surfaces. Designed to shift tons of dirt and rock with accuracy, it’s the workhorse of large excavation, road construction, quarrying, and heavy construction projects that require brawn and grading finesse. For maximum productivity in extreme conditions, our crawler bulldozer features industrial-quality components and intelligent control systems. From its reinforced undercarriage to the high-torque power plant, everything is designed to take on abrasive materials, steep inclines, and constant use while delivering reliability to operators and comfort.

Advantages of Crawler Bulldozer

Peerless Traction & Pushularity

The crawler track system evenly distributes the machine weight to give it tremendous ground contact for maximum pushing force (up to 40 tons of drawbar pull in the largest models). This allows the bulldozer to remain at its best traction performance on wet, muddy or loose soil and on slops with an incline of up to 35°, something that can get wheeled equipment stuck. The design of the track shoe itself is optimized for this goal; minimal ground disturbance and maximal durability.

Precision Earthmoving Capabilities

With highly sensitive blade controls and hydraulic systems, our crawler bulldozer can grade with millimeter precision. An adjustable six-way blade (tilt, angle and pitch) enables operators to accomplish everything from fine grading to bulk material displacement with equal ease. GPS/Laser grade control systems (some models optional) automatically position the blade and manage elevation to precise specs.

Operator-Centric Performance

Its sound-insulated, pressurized cab is equipped with ergonomic controls, air-ride seating, and 360° visibility. More advanced forms feature touchscreen displays with performance monitoring, automated implement controls and rearview cameras. This combined with ROPS/FOPS certified structure, which minimizes fatigue, allows you to operate in hazardous conditions with peace of mind.

Crawler Bulldozer

The crawler bulldozer is peak earthmoving machinery; it's designed to work through even the toughest projects. A heavy-duty fabricated steel frame along with reinforced track frames creates the best in durability and accommodates engines from 150-400+ hp. Blade configurations (straight, semi-U and coal/U) can be tailored to meet particular material handling needs, with capacities up to 30 cubic yards per pass.

Intelligent power management system of the machine automatically regulates engine output to suit working conditions, to achieve the best balance between performance and fuel economy. The undercarriage has been beautifully engineered, including sealed and lubricated track chains and heavy-duty rollers, with automatic tensioning systems to increase your component lifespan and minimize maintenance. Protected hydraulic lines and centralized service points make routine maintenance easier.

For the most accurate earthmoving, the bulldozer has integrated grade control technology including an option of GPS, laser or sonic systems. Smart features include terrain mapping, cut/fill indicators, and automated blade functions to maintain precise grades while lessening operator burden. Improvements in large-scale grading projects' accuracy while documenting as-built data using these systems.

What's the difference between standard and low-ground-pressure (LGP) models?

LGP versions feature wider tracks (up to 900mm) that reduce ground pressure to as low as 3.5 psi (vs 5-7 psi standard), making them ideal for swampy or extremely soft ground conditions while maintaining pushing power.
Daily track cleaning is recommended, with lubrication every 50 hours. Track tension should be checked weekly - our automatic tensioning systems reduce manual adjustments by 80%. Expect 3,000-5,000 hours between major undercarriage overhauls depending on operating conditions.
While the blade can move loose rock, for solid bedrock or heavily compacted material, we strongly recommend the heavy-duty ripper attachment (single or multi-shank) which increases productivity by 300-400% in such conditions.
We offer three tiers: 1) Laser systems for single-plane grading, 2) GPS systems for 3D site models, and 3) Fully automated terrain-following systems with millimeter accuracy. All integrate with our touchscreen displays.
