Crawler Dozer

Crawler Dozer

A crawler dozer is an earthmoving machine used in many heavy construction, mining, earthmoving, and land development projects. The machine in question would be a powerful piece of equipment with continuous tracks that offer flexibility, winning traction and better weight distribution over the entire tread, allowing it to traverse rough terrain, steep slopes and softer ground scenarios that wheeled machines wouldn't stand a chance in. Designed to efficiently move lots of dirt (and other materials), it is the first choice for large-scale grading, site preparation, and earthmoving. Our crawler dozer with its combination of rugged construction and smart technology is built to perform. Whether in quarry work, road building, forestry applications, or sitework or large infrastructure applications, this machine has the power to push as well as a blade capacity that exceeds expectations while providing the grade-control accuracy that the professionals demand.

Advantages of Crawler Dozer

Unrivaled Traction & Stability

The long full length of steel track system offers superior ground contact and weight distribution giving the deer a unique ability to operate safely on slopes of up to 35 degrees as well as wet, muddy or loose soil. The undercarriage design provides 30% more ground traction than wheeled dozers, and with ground pressure as low as 5 psi, the dozer will not sink in soft terrain.

Exceptional Earthmoving Power

With high-torque diesel engines (150-400 HP+) and specifically designed blade configurations, the Crawler Dozer provides superior pushing force, and the ability to displace maximum material. Its heavy-duty blade design moves 30 cubic yards of material per pass, and is reinforced with a ripper attachment that can a handle a rugged rock and frozen ground.

Precision Grade Control

There are high performance hydraulic systems make up the machine for a responsive blade control with automation capabilities of laser trimming or GPS navigation. This balanced weight distribution coupled with the stable track platform allows for clean, accurate finishes, even when handling large volumes of material.

Crawler Dozer

Our crawler dozer stands as the ultimate solution in heavy earthmoving technology, designed for years of heavy use in extreme environments. With its heavy-duty welded steel frame and reinforced track frames, this machine is built to last, and its power train ensures dependable performance with minimum fuel consumption. Available blade configurations (straight, semi-U, and full-U) to meet specific material handling needs.

A pressurized ROPS/FOPS certified cab with air suspension seating and 360-degree visibility raise the operator environment to new levels of comfort and visibility. These include operator fatigue-reducing intuitive joystick controls, touch screens and automated systems to increase precision. Higher-end models also feature climate control, rearview cameras and in-cabin telematics for monitoring performance in real time.

Designed for easy maintenance, the Crawler Dozer has grouped service points, extended-life components, and protected hydraulic systems. With a modular design that enables the quick replacement of wear parts, alongside an automatic track tensioning system to keep things operating at peak performance with minimal adjustment. A pair of optional cold-weather packages ensure reliable operation in sub-zero conditions.

For high-precision jobs, the dozer also incorporates integrated grade control systems accurate to the millimeter. Smart technology implementations include payload monitoring, terrain mapping, and automated blade control — allowing contractors to build to exact specifications, improving productivity and resource allocation.

What's the difference between standard and low-ground-pressure models?

LGP models feature wider tracks (up to 36 inches) for working in swamps or extremely soft ground, reducing ground pressure to as low as 3.5 psi versus 5-7 psi for standard models.
Under normal conditions, track life ranges from 3,000-5,000 hours. Regular rotation and proper tensioning can extend service life by up to 30%.
With the optional heavy-duty ripper (single or multi-shank), yes. For extreme rock conditions, our specialized mining configurations are recommended.
