SH240-8 is a 24-ton medium-sized hydraulic excavator developed by Shanbo Construction Machinery, designed for heavy-duty working conditions such as mines and large earthwork sites. Its operating weight reaches 23500kg with a bucket capacity ranging from 0.9m³ to 1.3m³. Equipped with a Cummins engine and a hydraulic system of Kawasaki main pump plus Parker main valve, it delivers strong power and sensitive hydraulic response. The bucket digging force is 146kN, enabling it to handle weathered rock and laterite soil efficiently. The machine can climb up to 35°, with reasonable ground pressure to avoid sinking on soft laterite ground in mines. Reinforced structural parts provide excellent impact resistance and wear resistance, adapting to the high-temperature and dusty harsh environment in Africa. It comes with a protective cabin, and cabin guard is optional for rockfall protection in mines. Convenient maintenance and complete spare parts supply greatly reduce downtime on overseas sites.
