Overseas clients traveled from afar to conduct an on-site inspection of the Shanbo Construction Machinery Equipment (Shandong) Co., Ltd. factory—and successfully finalized a major order!
Recently, a delegation of overseas customers from Peru crossed thousands of miles to visit our manufacturing base in Jining, Shandong, which is known as the “Capital of Construction Machinery in China”. The customer team has been deeply engaged in the local mining and infrastructure sectors in Peru for many years, undertaking copper mines, sand and gravel quarry operations, as well as highway and water conservancy infrastructure projects in the Andes. They have extremely strict requirements for equipment stability at high altitudes and continuous operation performance.
Accompanied by our sales and technical team, the customers toured our standardized workshop. They walked along the assembly line and observed sheet metal fabrication, structural welding, component assembly, factory performance testing and simulated working condition demonstrations of our full line of crawler excavators and bulldozers. The group closely inspected the main structure of the machines, imported main hydraulic control systems, reinforced heavy-duty booms and wear-resistant buckets. They asked detailed questions about steel material standards, welding flaw detection procedures, traceability control of spare parts, multi-stage factory inspection specifications, the layout of overseas spare parts warehouses, lead time of spare parts delivery and local after-sales support system.
During the on-site technical exchange session, the customers hopped onto the machines for trial operation. They highly praised the powerful and stable power output of SHANBO excavators, the smooth and responsive hydraulic control system, and the wear-resistant structure optimized for heavy mining conditions. Considering the harsh working conditions in the Peruvian Andes, including high altitude, large temperature difference between day and night and bumpy gravel roads in mining zones, the customer team raised many targeted questions. They focused on power compensation solutions at high altitudes, cold start adaptation, optimized dustproof and heat dissipation configurations, as well as maintenance plans for long-hour heavy-duty continuous work. Our technical engineers answered every question with customized working-condition solutions against the prototype parameters, and provided a list of optional modifications for their projects.
After prototype trial operation, repeated verification of technical specifications, discussion on customized solutions and thorough commercial negotiations, the customers fully recognized our manufacturing process complying with international construction machinery standards, the 1-year / 2000-hour warranty policy and our global after-sales service network covering South America. The two parties finalized the deal on site and officially signed the bulk purchase order for 6 units of SHANBO excavators + 1 unit of bulldozer.
